Q. How do I use it?
A. Insert your asthma medication canister into the Sports-haler™ following the instructions provided. When medication is needed, simply twist the cover of the mouthpiece which is then extended for use. Once extended, hold and use your Sports-haler™ as you would your regular puffer. Always retain your original medication packaging, instructions and plastic holder for use when you are not using the Sports-haler. Q. What if the mouthpiece does not retract after use?
A. If the mouthpiece is obstructed when closing, it may not retract. Check it is clear then rotate the mouthpiece cover to the fully open position. You may feel a click as it resets. Normal operation should now resume. This feature is to prevent accidental damage through excessive force.

Q. How do I clean it?
A. The Sports-haler™ can be rinsed with warm water. It should be allowed to dry thoroughly before use. Refer to the instructions for more detailed cleaning information.

Q. Do I have to buy a new Sports-haler™ for each new canister?
A. No. You can re-use your Sports-haler™, but it should be regularly cleaned and inspected. It is recommended you replace your Sports-haler™ if at any time it shows signs of wear and tear. Refer to the instructions for further details on cleaning and replacement.

Q. What medications can I use in the Sports-haler™?
A. Your pharmacist will advise on what commonly used medications can be used in the Sports-haler™.

Q. Can I use any of my asthma medications in the Sports-haler™?
A. The Sports-haler™ is currently available for use with Ventolin® and Asmol® canisters. Check our new models section for further product extensions.

A. Yes. Every Sports-haler™ has a simple spacer adapter packaged with it so you can use it in combination with a spacer.
